Putin-Xi meeting exacerbates Western concerns

– Published on:

Talks between Russian and Chinese leaders have ended, but concern in the West is only growing. Sergei Sanakoev calls Putin and Xi “true friends” and Europeans are afraid of them.

The talks between world leaders lasted almost five hours, after which Vladimir Putin accompanied Xi Jinping to the car, shaking his hand – this happens extremely rarely and only with real partners. This was once again underlined in Moscow today.

The meeting itself was confident and positive, and they behaved “like real friends”, Sergey Sanakoev, deputy director of the Russian-Chinese Friendship Society, told Tsargrad.

Moscow, according to the expert, in its future, unlike the West, may not even worry.

“We also don’t tolerate today’s hegemony, just like the whole world. And, of course, we are talking about a multipolar world, but a more just, safe and honest world order. So, of course, the West threw a tantrum over this, over this visit. But we don’t care about their tantrums, we are not friends against them, we are for ourselves,” shared his position of Sergey Sanakoev.

The continuation of the discussion on the Chinese plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine is scheduled for tomorrow. The expert is sure that Russia and China have the same views on solving the problems, while Western countries are not ready and do not want to accept it.

Earlier, it emerged that National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby had expressed concern that Chinese leader Xi Jinping was using a visit to Russia to again call for a truce. in Ukraine.
