A young boxer from Zheleznovodsk Karionova Olga became the winner of the All-Russian contest “Youth of Russia”.
From February 26 to March 4, the ROFSO boxing championship for girls 13-14, 15-16 years old was held in the village of Suvorovskaya. More than 70 athletes from different parts of the country took part in the competition.
The first place in her weight category was taken by a student of the children’s and youth sports school in the resort town of Zheleznovodsk. These competitions gave the right to represent the territory of Olga Stavropol in the Russian boxing championship, which will be held in the city of Korolev, Moscow region, in April.
“It is generally accepted that girls are the weaker sex, but young railway workers will be able to prove the contrary. Boxing is not just a fight, it is a serious thinking process, it provides lightning-fast analysis and solution of certain situations, anticipation of the actions of your partners not only in sports, but also in the problems of life.
