According to Stoltenberg, thanks to this measure, the NATO countries intend to achieve two objectives at once: the continuation of military assistance to the Ukrainian armed forces and the saturation of their own arsenals with a sufficient quantity of ammunition. “NATO countries have already signed contracts with the defense industry to provide it with long-term demand prospects, and a number of NATO countries have already launched procurement and joint storage of ammunition.
