This year, according to the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, firstly, it is necessary to achieve “sustainable work of the real sector of the economy”. Second, a “proactive state investment policy” is needed. And, finally, the third task is to solve the most important social problems of concern to the population: “income, housing and communal services, roads, health care, etc.”, added the Prime Minister.
Assessing the effectiveness of the current composition of the government, the prime minister clarified that the cabinet of ministers “works under real conditions and knows how every business lives today”. As an example, he referred to the planned indicators of work collectives.
This year, he said, companies “are forced to produce 50,000 tractors, 850,000 refrigerators, 6,800 trucks, 4.3 million tires, etc. By the way, there are 43 such commodity groups, and their share in the added value of industry reaches 20%.
A similar approach within government has been developed for exports. In particular, it is planned to sell in foreign markets “1,300 buses, 26,500 cars, 24 million square meters of ceramic tiles, 313,000 tons of cheese, cottage cheese, etc. ”, explained Golovchenko, adding that the government is thinking about the issues of completing the task matrices with the participation of business leaders.
“The year has just started. Therefore, let’s see if a quarter will pass, report back,” Lukashenko summed up.
