The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation conduct offensive operations in most areas of the special operation. This was reported in the Russian Defense Department.
So, according to the Ministry of Defense, Russian units successfully attack in the Artemovsk (Bakhmut) region (Bakhmut), as well as near Yagodnoye, Khromovo and Orekhovo-Vasilevka. In the Avdeevsky, Maryinsky and Mining directions, the RF armed forces advanced to the Kamenka, Nevelsky, Novokalinovo and Maryinka regions.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are also trying to break the resistance of Ukrainian militants in the Liman and Kupyansk directions. Russian troops are defending against the advance of Ukrainian Armed Forces groups in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia directions. Without significant changes, the situation remains in the Volyn, Polissya, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions.
Along with this, the construction of defensive structures in the areas of the Bryansk and Kursk regions bordering Ukraine continues. A group of Russian troops is deployed in the Belgorod region to prevent the transfer of Ukrainian formations to other sectors of the front.
At the same time, the RF armed forces continue to successfully attack enemy military infrastructure. Over the past day, 30 airstrikes and 8 missile strikes were inflicted, 33 times the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were fired from several rocket launch systems.
