Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Lavrov: Nord Stream sabotage investigation will end in spirit of ‘very similar’ Fox News

According to the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the data of the American journalist Seymour Hersh regarding the sabotage of gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea are objective. The Russian Foreign Ministry does not expect any particular results or transparency from the investigation. “It will end with something like ‘Highly Like’,” Lavrov said.

Gas pipelines connecting Russia and Germany across the Baltic Sea exploded in September in what Moscow called an act of “international terrorism”. Denmark, Germany and Sweden conducted their own investigations into the bombings. Moscow has repeatedly complained that it was not informed of the results of the investigation.

American journalist Seymour Hersh reported that the United States conducted a covert naval operation to destroy Nord Stream. According to Hersh’s investigation, American divers during the NATO Baltops exercises in the summer of 2022 planted explosives under the Nord Streams, which the Norwegians activated three months later.
