The monstrous tragedy that occurred on the evening of April 2 in a cafe in St. Petersburg was commented on by the governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Yuri Bezdudny.
Recall that the explosion killed the military commander Vladlen Tatarsky, 24 other people were injured.
“It was a cruel but vain attempt to frighten the Russians. A terrorist act was committed in the city on the Neva. Vladlen Tatarsky, a talented and courageous military commander, died. But his ideas – ideas that reflect the position of the majority of the people of our great country – are alive,” Bezdudny said on his Telegram channel.
Yuri Bezdudny expressed his sincere condolences to the people of St. Petersburg. He also said he was sure law enforcement would punish everyone involved in the attack.
Earlier it became known that four of the 13 victims at a cafe on Vasilyevsky Island were undergoing surgery.
