Service members who were injured during SVO and received a disability will receive funds for rehabilitation. It is planned to provide war veterans with means of technical rehabilitation through the introduction of new legal acts, reports the Parlamentskaya Gazeta.
Deputy Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Anna Kuznetsova informed that many servicemen believe that rehabilitation is not provided in time. To date, victims are helped mainly through charity.
However, the politician noted, in the near future these issues will be quickly resolved at the state level through the introduction of new regulatory legal acts into the legislation of the Russian Federation. Servicemen, who have received a disability according to the SVO, will be provided with modern prostheses and wheelchairs. Thanks to the new regulations, the provision of rehabilitation facilities will be considerably accelerated.
Earlier, the regional head reported that since 2014 the defenders of Donbass are recognized as combat veterans. The State Duma has promised to review the project and the fund itself, as it tries to provide a decent life for veterans.
