The Novgorod Region Prosecutor’s Office, on behalf of Acting Regional Prosecutor Pavel Rossolovsky, is investigating an accident in which three people were burned to death.
On Sunday, April 16, on the Spasskaya Polist – Malaya Vishera – Lyubytino – Borovichi highway in the village of Pustoshki, Lyubytinsky district, an unknown driver of a BMW x5 lost control of the car, ran off the road and s crashed into a tree.
After the accident, the car caught fire and the three people inside died before the ambulance arrived.
The Prosecutor’s Office of the Novgorod region will conduct an assessment of compliance with the proper maintenance of the roadway. If violations are found as a result of the audit, the issue of taking legal action will be considered. This was reported in the press service of the Novgorod region prosecutor’s office.
Earlier, The Eastern Herald in Veliky Novgorod reported that three people were burned alive after an accident in the Lyubytinsky district.
