The edition of Sport24, citing the recommendations of nutritionists, lists six foods that prevent weight loss. According to experts, even an active lifestyle, including working out, exercising, walking and running, will be useless if this food is included in the diet.
Sugar – its excess turns into fat, contributes to diabetes and obesity, increases the risk of heart attack or atherosclerosis. More than 25 to 30 grams of sugar per day is harmful. The best place to start is to stop adding sugar to your tea or coffee and reduce the sugar in other foods.
Dried fruits – they do not pull a healthy snack at all, especially during weight loss. The sugar concentration increases significantly when fruits or berries are dried, so it is better to replace them with fresh ones.
Yogurts have nothing to do with health benefits or weight loss, especially if they contain various additives. And in this regard, it is better to give preference to a product with a fat content of up to 2.5% and the simplest possible composition.
Carbonated drinks – they all contain the same sugar. For example, 100ml of cola contains 2.5 teaspoons of sugar. And carbon dioxide in drinks stimulates appetite and causes cellulite. It is better to replace them with ordinary drinking water without gas.
Bread and pastries contain simple carbohydrates which stimulate the appetite. They are high in calories and don’t make you feel full. It is better to replace a regular bread with a bread without yeast or whole grains.
Alcohol usually slows down the metabolism, prevents fat burning processes, promotes fluid retention and the formation of edemas. In addition, drinking alcohol stimulates the appetite. And if you really do not want to exclude it from your diet at all, it is better to give preference to a glass of dry wine.
