Etawah. Samajwadi Party (SP) Chief General Secretary Prof. Ram Gopal Yadav said on Monday that the results of the Karnataka assembly elections will show the mirror to the arrogant Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Speaking to reporters at his residence here, Prof. Yadav said that the BJP would face a crushing defeat in the Karnataka elections and the Congress would retain power. Getting 30 to 40 seats for the BJP in the Karnataka elections is also a big deal. BJP stalwarts from the Prime Minister are going to Karnataka to seek votes but the truth is that the condition of the BJP is weak in Karnataka.
Attacking Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, he said that Mr. Yogi’s language style is not like that of a saint. Everyone bows down in respect of the one who wears saffron, but the language spoken by Chief Minister Yogi cannot be the language of a saint. Attacking BSP chief Mayawati, he said that everyone knows very well that BSP is the B team of BJP. He claimed that the SP would win big in the civic polls.
In the BJP government, no budget was given to the Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council, as a result, no work could be done in the urban areas, while in the Akhilesh government, the budget was given to the municipalities in the urban areas on a large scale. Because of which a large number of development schemes were implemented in urban areas, which benefited the local people.
He said that BJP has not done any work, everywhere there are piles of garbage, that’s why people want to vote for SP. He said that when the BJP does not have anything, they only start abusing the SP leaders. On the question regarding the punishment of Mukhtar Ansari and his brother Afzal Ansari, he said that there are some cases which are serious, we should not speak on that. It is a court case. Can’t comment on the court case.
