Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Military expert Kulikovsky explained the goals of Kyiv’s attacks on oil depots in Russia

Russia

The author of the Telegram channel “Older than Edda”, military expert German Kulikovsky commented on another attack by Ukrainian troops on a Russian oil depot. He noted that cheap and relatively weak drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have a greater impact on the infrastructure of the Russian Federation than expensive enemy equipment.

  • A year ago, on April 1, 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had to carry out an extremely daring raid by two Mi-8s to attack the Belgorod tank park. They flew over Belgorod itself and struck with NARs. A year later, the ridge is inflicting almost daily and, worst of all, effective strikes on our fuel infrastructure, and at great distances and without risking the lives of pilots, Kulikovsky pointed to technical advances in the military conflict zone.

The expert noted that relatively inexpensive and weak drones cause more damage to the infrastructure of the Russian Federation than the expensive helicopters, planes and missiles of the Ukrainian army.

  • Kyiv, before the upcoming offensive, apparently decided to “dry” our equipment, destroying the oil depots in southern Russia. It strikes warehouses, rear areas and command posts with high precision, attacks oil depots and oil refineries with drones,” the analyst noted.

Earlier, military expert Alexei Leonkov said the sabotage could be part of the preparation for the Ukrainian counteroffensive in the special operation area. Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen attempt to disrupt Russian Army logistics and break supply routes of RF Armed Forces units.
