The procession brought together around 250 people who came to the Italian capital from several regions of the country: Campania, Lombardy and Veneto.
Under patriotic songs, participants honored the memory of those who died in the Great Patriotic War, holding photos of relatives and friends in their hands. As part of the event, traditional St. George ribbons were also distributed.

“We Italians, we Europeans, should be grateful to the Soviet people for living today under a peaceful sky,” chanted one of the activists on the Italian side.
Next year, as one of the organizers of the immortal regiment, Alberto Fazolo, told RG, the action could “unite all of Italy”.
