February 28, 2023, 10:16 am – Public Information Service – TEH – Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Colonel-General Alexander Syrsky spoke about the course of hostilities in the Bakhmut (Artemovsk (Bakhmut) ) region.
“The situation in the Bakhmut region is extremely tense,” he said.
According to Syrsky, the Russian side sent its best assault brigades to Bakhmut, whose task is to encircle the city and break through the defense of the Ukrainian armed forces.
Earlier, a Ukrainian soldier explained why Russian forces might not complete the full capture of Bakhmut (Artemivsk).
