Prepare mentally for the arrival of the best boy band in the world

– Published on:

This week it was announced that the group Backstreet Boys would be coming to Iceland at the end of April, and arguably this has caused more havoc in the community than the OlĂudreifingar drivers’ strike.
Eva Ruza, a source of joy, did not wait for the invitation when she heard the news, because she is a big fan of the group. She now travels with a life-size hardcover version of the group members and introduces them to interesting places in the Capital Region. It’s impossible to imagine there’s a bigger fan of the band than Eva, who went with her friends and saw the band at a gig in Barcelona last fall.

Review the plan in Einar BárĂ°ar’s podcast
Eva Ruza is Einar BárĂ°ar’s guest on the Just this week podcast. She is a media woman, artist and influencer, but above all a source of joy. They talk about the Backstreet Boys and the band’s career, Croatia, loss and the gift of joy that isn’t given to everyone.
First Backstreet Boys concert in HallgrĂmskirkja
Among the locations Eva introduced to the boys over the weekend were Smáralind, Perlan and HallgrĂmskirkja. Among other things, she helped the cardboard version of the Backstreet Boys organize a concert on top of the HallgrĂmsskirkja tower. Eva knows that this is the Backstreet “papa” Boys’ first concert in the HallgrĂmsirkja tower and she is sure that it is also the first pop concert in the tower since the tower was built.

Eva made her debut as a presenter in Color Run in the summer of 2015 and since then her star has only gone up. The Einars discuss Eva’s career in television, radio and social media and how she views her role through these threads. Eva and Hjálmar Ă–rn JĂłhannsson have a lot of fun together, so much so that some people think they are a couple, but they are not. She is married to SigurĂ°ur Þór Þórsson, who runs Svartakaffi, the cafe the family owns, and they have twins, a son and a daughter.
