Samsung plans to release a “big update” for the Galaxy S23 series. The main focus of this update is camera optimization. On Reddit, several Galaxy S23 users have complained about the photos they took with these phones. This includes the high-end Galaxy S23 Ultra, which has a 200-megapixel Samsung HP2 image sensor.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra’s 16:1 main camera captures images at around 12MP resolution. But because pixel binning allows the pixels to absorb more data, the resulting photos should be sharper, with less noise and better dynamic range. But that doesn’t mean the photography system of all three models can’t benefit from the setup.
