Finally, the Diablo 4 Closed Beta has launched. Modern Blizzard was unable to properly prepare for launch, which led to a number of issues.
Some who were even interested in Diablo 4 unable to start the game . If it was possible to launch Diablo 4, other problems awaited – long queues.
Diablo 4’s gameplay isn’t that smooth either: the player can fly up and back into the queue, and killing the boss just might end by deleting the character and new queue.
Snow storm published a small statement on the forum. The Diablo 4 developers have promised to reduce queues, now, to ensure stability, they regulate the number of players entering the beta.
They will also deal with crashes, high loads on video cards and RAM, with a lag/rollback effect (rubber banding, familiar to Diablo 3 fans ) and other issues.
Blizzard wants to add a more accurate queue timer to Open Beta (March 24-26), but in the meantime they encourage you to stay in the queue so you don’t reset the timer. Currently some players can easily queue Diablo 4 at 5 o’clock.
