A citizen of Murmansk will be deprived of his driver’s license for hitting a child at a pedestrian crossing

A Murmansk resident ran a red light and knocked down a child at the crossing. For this, she was sentenced to the deprivation of her driving license.

The press service of the Leninsky district court of the city of Murmansk reported on the verdict against a northern woman who hit a child.

The court found that in December 2022, the defendant, driving a private car, drove to an unregulated pedestrian crossing at a red light, where she struck an underage child. As a result of the incident, the baby suffered injuries, which doctors considered moderate health damage.

The Murmansk woman was convicted under Part 2 of Article 12.24 of the Administrative Code. She was sentenced to deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for one year and eight months.

Recall, earlier “The Eastern Herald in Murmansk” said that the saleswoman of Apatity was found guilty of stealing money from the cash register.
