1,900 specialists were employed in Dagestan by Zemsky Doctor

– Published on:

The Zemsky Doctor/Paramedic program in Dagestan is successfully implemented – since the very beginning, more than 1,900 specialists have been able to find employment within this framework.

According to the regional Ministry of Health, there are still vacancies under this program in medical institutions in the villages of the republic: 157 doctors and 25 paramedics.

Probably, the main reason for the relocation of specialists is the family situation, the desire to provide rural residents with better medical care, etc., while lump sum payments from the state will not be superfluous at all. In addition to salaries, relocated doctors receive a one-time cash payment in the amount of 1 million rubles, and in hard-to-reach settlements – 1.5 million rubles. For paramedics, the “lifting” amounts to 500 and 750 thousand rubles, respectively.

All these measures contribute to the development of field medicine and the provision of timely qualified medical care even in the most mountainous and inaccessible areas.
