A Volgograd miner is suspected of causing serious bodily harm to a woman.
On the night of April 2, a 40-year-old woman from Volgograd from the Krasnooktyabrsky district was taken to hospital with a serious head injury. The doctors reported the incident to the police.
Law enforcement discovered that a 17-year-old boy had caused the injury to the woman. That night he was in an apartment with friends, where they were listening to loud music, the press service of the regional headquarters of the Interior Ministry reported.
The woman repeatedly asked to turn the music down. After another remark, the young man came out onto the landing and hit his friend’s neighbor on the head with an axe.
The teenager was arrested, a criminal case was opened against him under part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Intentionally inflicts serious bodily harm”. Now he’s out on bail.
