Repair and construction works of several large road facilities are planned for this year in Vologda, which will be carried out in accordance with national projects. It was possible to enter it thanks to Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov.

So, according to Vologda Mayor Sergei Voropanov, the city has already signed an agreement on the construction of a section of Novgorodskaya Street. A four-lane road with bike lanes and sidewalks will run southeast along Osanovskaya Grove and up Olimpiyskaya Street, which is currently being designed.

Additionally, the city began looking for a contractor to restore the Chelyuskintsev Street Bridge over the Sodema River. The repair will take place without a complete overlap of the structure. The works for 2023-2024 are calculated.

It is also worth remembering that this year they will start work on the bridge in the village of Kuvshinovo.
