The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs appreciated the positive impact of the Aisha Bint Jassim Al-Darwish Center for the Memorization of the Noble Qur’an for Women. The impact of these Qur’anic centers in promoting noble values and ideals in society, as the Qur’anic centers are distributed in the different regions of the country within the city of Doha and in the outer regions, hosting thousands of students of different ages in memorization circles at different levels. Mrs. Moudi Jaber Al-Sahel, Head of the Aisha Al-Darwish Center, explained that the center works in two shifts, morning and evening, and the number of students in it is 531 students distributed over 41 episodes, with 5 episodes in the morning period, 8 episodes in the evening period, 5 remote episodes, and the attendance sessions in the period 5 episodes in the morning, 8 in the evening, 2 remote attendance in the morning, 8 in the evening, and 21 portfolios of the book of God supervising the center’s episodes. Al-Sahel mentioned that the episodes branch out as follows: the children’s category (memorization, contemplation, and interpretation of the surahs in a simplified manner), the girls’ category (memorization and levels of intonation), continuous episodes (starting from Juz Amma until the conclusion of the Qur’an), and follow-up episodes for distinguished students divided into two parts, the morning period, the category of mothers and educated women, And the evening period is for the educated children, girls and women, and God has blessed 12 students with the seal of memorizing the Qur’an in the center this year. Regarding the opinions of the teachers at the center, the teacher, Taraji Al-Alfi, explained that the main factor that drives students to learn the Holy Qur’an is the teacher’s closeness to the students, their desire to memorize the Qur’an and piety of God, the activities that attract children and the prizes, and their introduction to the hadiths of the virtue of the Qur’an and its learning. She pointed out that the main factor that drives female students to learn the Holy Qur’an is education, the environment, good company in school, and the upbringing of parents is an essential factor. To contain and care for it.
