Tomorrow, Saturday, April 8, events related to the celebration of the 200th birthday of Russian playwright AN Ostrovsky will begin in Kostroma. The celebrations will begin with the birthday of Snow Maiden, the main event of which in Kostroma will be a procession of fairy-tale characters called “Snowmobile”.
Many fantastic relatives of the Snow Maiden will take part in it: Father Frost, Tol Babai, Vasilisa the Wise, Baba Yaga, Kikimora Vyatskaya, Grandfather Boyan, Snezhevika Klyukovka, Karelian Frost and others. Together with the young residents of Kostroma at 11 a.m. they will march from the residence of the Snow Maiden to Susaninskaya Square, where a concert will be held, during which the creative teams of Kostroma will congratulate the Snow Maiden. Snow Maiden’s birthday will end with the intellectual game “Skazkuby” and the show “Tales lead a round dance” in her Residence.
