53rd Friday promises to be grand in Algiers

Thousands of demonstrators occupy this morning, since 10:30 am, the rue Didouche Mourad, for the 53rd consecutive Friday of march against the system, and which intervenes on the eve of the date of February 22, 2020, marking the year “I” of the Hirak.

In response to President Tebboune’s decision to declare February 22 “National Day of Brotherhood and People-Armed Cohesion for Democracy”, the protesters chanted “We did not go out to party, but rather to bring down the system. ”

Many citizens from different wilayas in the country wanted to make the trip to participate in today’s march in Algiers. The 53rd Friday promises to be grand.
