Tennis: world No.1 Novak Djokovic joins Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final

The world No.1, the Serbian Novak Djokovic, qualified for the final of the ATP 500 tournament in Dubai by beating in the semi-final the French Gaël Monfils (N.9), 2-6, 7-6 (10 / 8), 6-1 after saving three match points on Friday.

Djokovic, still undefeated this year, will seek a fifth title in Dubai (after those won in 2009, 10, 11 and 13) against Stefanos Tsitsipas (N.6). The Greek, already a finalist in the tournament last year, dominated in the first semi-final the Briton Daniel Evans (N.37), 6-2, 6-3.

Monfils, who remained on two titles in Montpellier and Rotterdam, lost again against Djokovic, whom he had never beaten in 17 confrontations.
