A third of football fans for Bundesliga demolition

Berlin – According to a survey, a third of football fans are in favor of an immediate season break in the Bundesliga. Nielsen Sports found this out in a representative survey.

However, 65 percent of those interested in football wanted the current season to be over. 45 percent would make friends with the so-called “ghost games”.

The opinion poll was carried out before the general meeting of the German Football League in Frankfurt. The 36 professional clubs in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga had decided on Tuesday to stop playing until at least April 30th. The clubs are sticking to their goal of ending the suspended season by June 30, despite the coronavirus pandemic. The DFL keeps various models open for a conclusion of the currently suspended 2019/20 season.
