Biles Olympic participation not certain after postponement

Los Angeles – Turnstar Simone Biles has not yet decided to participate in the Olympic Games in Tokyo, which have been postponed for a year.

“Nothing is set in stone yet,” said the 23-year-old American to the AP news agency. “Mentally, it will be challenging to fight through another year because we have mentally aligned all tactics to this year.” It was difficult to take my foot off the gas and start again because “I was about to empty the tank and now we have to find ways to fill it up again”.

In her career, the Texan has won four gold medals at the Olympic Games and another 25 medals at the World Championships.

The Tokyo Olympic Games should have taken place this summer, but have been postponed to the summer of 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
