Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Doing “reasonable things” with a salary

Stuttgart – National soccer player Toni Kroos does not consider a real Madrid salary waiver to be the best solution in the coronavirus crisis.

“What I think is better is getting the full salary, but then doing reasonable things with the salary and helping left and right,” said the 30-year-old midfielder on Tuesday in the SWR podcast “Steil extra!”. “Waiving the salary is like making a donation to nothing or to the club, although it is not necessary here.”

With his foundation, in addition to an appeal for donations, he considered making toys available to families, said Kroos. «They could choose toys for their children in toy shops so that they had a little variety at home. We have about 80 to 100 orders, »said the Real Madrid professional. “I’m a friend of it, if you think about something that helps directly.”
