More than 108,200 corona records in Germany

Berlin (TEH) – In Germany at least 108,200 infections with the new coronavirus had been registered by Thursday morning (previous day at 10:20 a.m .: more than 103,100 infections). This is clear from a TEH evaluation that takes into account the latest figures from the federal states, and the time at which a new daily status is reported varies from state to state. Also, some of the federal states do not always report their numbers at the same time: According to the information, at least 2079 people infected with Sars-CoV-2 have died nationwide (previous day at 10.20 a.m .: 1819).

Several Germans died abroad in connection with a corona infection. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute, around 46,300 people survived the infection in Germany, with Bavaria having more than 28,000 cases and at least 589 deaths, North Rhine-Westphalia with more than 22,800 cases and at least 413 deaths, and Baden-Wurttemberg with particularly high numbers of infected people more than 21,400 cases and at least 514 deaths.

Based on 100,000 inhabitants, Bavaria has the most infections with a value of 214.5. The national average was 130.2. As for other countries, experts also expect a high number of unreported cases in Germany.
