“All the ingredients for a successful season”

Munich – Wing striker Kingsley Coman (23) believes that FC Bayern Munich will be very successful this season if football operations continue.

“Most have been playing together for a long time, and with the family atmosphere in the club, I think we have all the ingredients for a successful season,” said the French international “eurosport.de” in an interview. Bundesliga operations have been interrupted at least until April 30th due to the corona pandemic. According to the plans of the German Football League, it will be played again in May.

Not least in the Champions League, Coman believes his club a lot. We said to ourselves that there is something in this season because we feel really good. Liverpool was my favorite, but they’re out now. We are aware that everything can always happen in two games, but we are very optimistic, said Coman. Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool FC was knocked out in the round of 16 against Atletico Madrid, Bayern won their first leg 3-0 against Chelsea. We really have a great spirit and are excellent in the Champions League. Our squad is broad, we are a real team, said Coman.

The French praised coach Hansi Flick, who got a contract as head coach until summer 2023. “When he became the head coach, he had already built up a lot of self-confidence and friendship with the players that you normally don’t get with a coach. That helped to get the team back on track in a difficult time, ”said Coman of Flick, who replaced Niko Kovac in November. “He didn’t change that much, but he managed to motivate us again.”
