Thiago at Bayern before a new contract

Munich – Football record champions FC Bayern Munich is about to prematurely extend the contract with midfielder Thiago, according to the “kicker”.

The 28-year-old Spaniard is expected to receive a contract by June 30, 2023. The negotiations are “very far advanced and little things still need to be clarified,” wrote the “kicker”. The international had moved from FC Barcelona to Munich in 2013.

A new agreement with Thiago would be the third important personnel that FC Bayern would clarify this week. The club had previously agreed on a contract until 2023 with trainer Hansi Flick (55) and Thomas Muller (30).
