05-striker Szalai helps at home: 85,000 euros collected

MAINZ – striker Adam Szalai from the Bundesliga club FSV Mainz 05 is involved with his foundation in the fight against the consequences of the corona virus in his home country Hungary. According to “bild.de”, around 85,000 euros were collected on Friday. They should benefit hospitals, emergency services and a children’s aid organization.

“I usually take part in every action on site, but I couldn’t do that now,” said the attacker. Szalai therefore coordinated the project by video and telephone. Both the Hungarian football association and colleagues from the national team participated in the report.
