Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Kimmich on league sequel in May: Health above all

Munich – Soccer player Joshua Kimmich from FC Bayern Munich does not only expect positive reactions if the Bundesliga season continues in May.

Opinions will be divided. But I do think that many would definitely be happy if they could watch football again, even if they were watching TV permanently, ”said Kimmich of the“ Abendzeitung München ”. On the other hand, it is still difficult and has to be justified and socially sustainable. The health of every individual, of people, is above everything and must, therefore, be the basis for all decisions to be made.  The league is currently paused until April 30th.

Kimmich spoke of the fact that the coronavirus pandemic had slowed down. «Everyone noticed what rhythm we are in our society. Especially in football, it is the case that we think from game to game, there is a competition every three days and we travel a lot, »said the 25-year-old. «Now it was almost from 100 to 0. Hopefully, the end of the season is still waiting for us, but it feels like a summer break, even if we are not training-free. Overall, it’s an oppressive time. »

The service provider even sees triple opportunities for Bayern if the season continues. «It is doable. But it is generally always difficult to break into such euphoria directly, »he said. «We have a strong team, a lot of potential and quality. And the upheaval will certainly continue in the near future. But we are already well-positioned now, so far we have done well this season in an international comparison. I would say we are ready. »
