Munich – Thomas Muller is impressed by the first impressions of Oliver Kahn’s work as a board member of FC Bayern Munich.
“Basically, he acts very thoughtfully, as I also judged. He looks at the whole thing, »said the 30-year-old former world champion about the former world-class goalkeeper. Kahn makes a “determined, but relaxed impression. No hectic decisions are currently being made, »said Muller, also referring to the coronavirus crisis.
Kahn (50) has been the new Bayern board member since the beginning of this year and is to replace Karl-Heinz Rummenigge as boss of the committee on January 1, 2022. He is in office for 100 days on Friday.
Muller narrowly missed Kahn as an active team-mate with the German soccer record champions. The former goalkeeper “Titan” ended his career with the Munich team in 2008, Muller completed part of the summer preparation under coach Jurgen Klinsmann in the same year. Muller virtually quipped “the handle on the hand,” recalling Muller, who recently signed a new contract by the summer of 2023. He commented mischievously that he had “not yet really” managed to “push sayings” into Kahn.
