Rock band U2 donates millions to fight CoronaVirus

Dublin (TEH) – The Irish rock band U2 has donated ten million euros for the fight against the Corona Virus. A part of the medical equipment financed with it has already arrived at Dublin Airport, reports the Irish television RTE.

According to this information, a number of companies are also involved in the medical aid procurement campaign.

The band around their frontman Bono has been involved in a number of social and political projects for years, and almost 6,000 people in Ireland have been infected with the Corona Virus. So far, there have been 235 deaths related to the Virus, Wednesday night.
