Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Record-breaking Tiger in Nepal

Kathmandu (TEH) – A tiger has been traveling in unusually high territory in Nepal. The Nepalese Ministry of Forests and the Environment said that a photo trap in the west of the country took pictures of the animal at an altitude of 2,500 meters. “It is likely that tigers will explore new areas because they have insufficient habitat and prey as their population grows gradually, “Said Chiran Pokharel, species protection expert of the ministry, the German press agency. Some experts believe that climate change is one of the reasons that tigers are moving to higher areas, and the global tiger population is growing, according to the conservation organization WWF.

Ten years ago, Nepal and the other tiger states in South Asia, Southeast Asia, Russia, and China decided to double the number of endangered big cats by the Chinese “Year of the Tiger” in 2022. India, for example, where, according to animal rights activists, by far the most tigers live, has already achieved this goal. There are almost 3000 animals there, according to the WWF.
