The second phase of testing a new type of inactivated vaccine against coronavirus, developed by the Wuhan Institute of Biological Products under the State Pharmaceutical Corporation of China and the Wuhan Institute of Virology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, began in China, Xinhua News Agency reported. The second test phase will focus on the vaccination procedure.

In the first phase of testing, 96 people from three different age groups received the vaccine. As long as the product shows good safety, surveillance of vaccine recipients continues.
