Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Turkish Presidency makes a mistake while tweeting and tweet goes viral

The Turkish presidency made a big mistake on its official page on Twitter, after publishing a tweet regarding the imposition of curfews in the country.

And the Turkish presidency quoted Erdogan as saying that a curfew will be imposed in all states from the day of (Arafah) to the last day of Eid. The Turkish presidency confused the stand of Eid Al-Fitr with the stand of Arafat, which precedes Eid Al-Adha, saying: “Curfews will be imposed in all states from the day of Arafat to the last day of the holiday.”

We left the blog post for about an hour, but it was later modified, and the word on the day of Arafa was deleted to become the amendment: “Curfews will be imposed in all states from Saturday to the last day of Eid,” according to the website (Russia Today).
