Protests in Belarus: Try to block the flow of protesters to Minsk

Thousands of protesters marched on Belarussian city center Minsk. Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck.

Protesters are still demanding the resignation of President Alexander Lukashenko. Belarussian authorities are accused of falsifying the results of the presidential election just over a month ago.

A number of prominent opponents of the government have fled the country, but protesters and human rights activists have accused the police of repeatedly using peaceful protesters.

Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck. Many protesters have been arrested.
