“Time to pay the bills. Otherwise, Armenia will continue to be headstrong, ”the Turkish President said.

Armenia must liberate the territories of Azerbaijan “occupied” by it. This, as reported by TEH representative in Ankara, said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“The time has come to end the occupation of Armenia, the time has come to pay the bills. Otherwise, Armenia will continue to be willful. She must leave the occupied lands. Everyone knows that these are the lands of Azerbaijan,” Erdogan said, speaking in Istanbul.

He also stated that the Minsk Group of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe “for 30 years has not been able to resolve this issue and has done” everything so that it does not dare. ”

“Now they teach us, and sometimes they threaten us. They ask: are there Turkish soldiers there in Nagorno-Karabakh? Does Turkey supply weapons? Those who ask this themselves have sent thousands of trucks of weapons to northern Syria, ”the Turkish leader said. He was referring to US support for the self-defense forces of the Syrian Kurds, whom Turkey considers terrorists.

Meanwhile, earlier the Ambassador of Armenia to Russia Vardan Toganyan stated that units of militants, which Turkey had transferred there from Syria, are participating in the battles in Nagorno-Karabakh.

“According to our information, recently about 4,000 militants have been deployed by Turkey from Syria to Azerbaijan. They are trained in militant camps, ”Toganyan said.

The diplomat also said that the Armenian leadership can, if necessary, turn to Russia for new supplies of weapons. He linked this with the emergence of a “third party” in the conflict – Turkey. The diplomat recalled that Yerevan and Moscow are allies with corresponding obligations.

At the same time, as the ambassador assured, there is no talk of “external military assistance to Armenia” yet.
