A Russian citizen was detained at the Kharkiv airport, who was on the international wanted list for kidnapping

At the international airport “Kharkiv”, border guards detained a Russian who was on the international wanted list for kidnapping since 2008, reports press service of the Eastern Regional Directorate of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

“The man was immediately detained by law enforcement officers. The detainee was a citizen of the Russian Federation, who has been on the international wanted list since 2008 and is suspected of kidnapping,” the message says.

The Ukrainian Bureau of Interpol was immediately informed about the detention and the Russian was handed over to representatives of the National Police.
