Warner Bros. Studios and Legendary have decided to postpone the premiere of Denis Villeneuve’s Dune by almost a year. Now the picture will be released on screens on October 1, 2021, and not in December this, as planned, reports Collider…
Dune was originally planned to be released on December 18th. But Warner Bros. postponed the premiere of Wonder Woman for Christmas weekend. In addition, a source in the studio explained the transfer by the fact that Americans are still reluctant to go to cinemas, despite the lack of confirmed cases of coronavirus transmission during mass movie screenings.
This is not the first postponement of the expected films to the next year. So, Universal decided to Postpone the premiere of the 25th Bond film “No Time to Die” to April 2, 2021 .
