“We have agreed with British Home Secretary Priti Patel to work out mechanisms for combating cross-border and cybercrime, illegal migration and operational data exchange. We are ready to cooperate bilaterally, ”Avakov said.

The parties also agreed to send a group of Ukrainian experts to the United Kingdom to familiarize themselves with the system for recording, processing and analyzing offenses.

In the near future, a delegation of British experts will arrive in Kiev to familiarize themselves with the Ukrainian system for processing and issuing biometric documents. Ukrainian specialists in Britain will study the latest passport protection system and conduct an examination of documents.

As a reminder, on July 1, the Cabinet of Ministers approved an Agreement with Turkey on Mutual Recognition and Exchange of Driving Licenses … The document provides for a simplified procedure for exchanging Turkish certificates for Ukrainian ones and vice versa without passing exams.

In March 2017, Ukraine and Turkey signed an agreement allowing Ukrainian and Turkish citizens to exercise mutual trips using internal ID-passports.

According to this agreement, citizens of Ukraine and Turkey who have passports with a contactless electronic data carrier (in the form of an ID-card) will be able to enter and leave the territory of another country, transit through the territory, and stay on it for a period of no more than 90 days. within 180 days.
