AstraZeneca: Vaccine side effects are expected

The British-Swedish multinational pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca announced on Thursday that it was not aware of any severe or unexpected side effects of its coronavirus vaccine, stressing its strict quality standards and the fact that the vaccine is used in 50 countries.

In Germany, reports of side effects and concerns about efficacy have led some people to refuse the AstraZenecino vaccine. Z complained were in severe reactions, and in some cases are taken and sick leave. This has led to resistance to vaccination with these vaccines and to the cancellation of already agreed vaccination dates.

“Reactions have so far been expected and in line with data from our clinical trials,” said an AstraZeneca spokesman.

Symptoms include temporary pain and tenderness at the injection site, mild to moderate headache, fatigue, fever, fever, weakness, and muscle aches. Most symptoms appear the day after vaccination and are very likely to recur after the second dose, a spokesman said, adding:

–  No serious cases of side effects related to the AstraZeneca vaccine have been reported, the company is monitoring the development of the situation.

The German vaccine regulator also announced that the AstraZeneca vaccine was “highly effective” and that reactions to it were short-lived.
