The British-Swedish multinational pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca announced on Thursday that it was not aware of any severe or unexpected side effects of its coronavirus vaccine, stressing its strict quality standards and the fact that the vaccine is used in 50 countries.
In Germany, reports of side effects and concerns about efficacy have led some people to refuse the AstraZenecino vaccine. “Reactions have so far been expected and in line with data from our clinical trials,” said an AstraZeneca spokesman.
