Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The Investigation of PS752 Ukrainian plane crash in Iran has been completed

A judicial organization of the Armed Forces of Iran has completed the investigation into last year’s downing of a Ukrainian passenger plane, which was hit by Iranian missiles, said the director of the Organization, Shokrolah Bahrami.

He said that the verdict on the incident that happened at the beginning of last year is being prepared.

–  The military court has completed the investigation into the crash of the Ukrainian plane. We are currently preparing a verdict – Bahrami pointed out.

A statement published on the website of the Organization states that the court will start the hearings after all the preparations have been made.

The Ukrainian “Boeing 737” plane crashed a few minutes after taking off from the airport in Tehran on January 8 last year, when all 176 passengers and crew members were killed.

Among the dead on the flight “PS752” are citizens of Afghanistan, Germany, Iran, Canada, Ukraine, Great Britain, and Sweden.

The Iranian army admitted three days later that it mistakenly shot down a Ukrainian passenger plane, thinking that it was an enemy cruise missile.
