The Pentagon made demands to Ukraine to receive $150 million

The United States will channel $150 million under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) as a result of ensuring that the country’s authorities have made significant progress in defense reform. This statement was made at the Pentagon .

The US Defense Department noted that this is required by the US National Defense Budget Act.

The Pentagon called on Kiev to continue reforms to increase transparency and accountability in the defense industry and procurement, modernize the defense sector, and strengthen civilian control over the military.

On Monday, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said Ukraine would receive $ 125 million in military aid, including for the supply of weapons and training.
