The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the neutralization of 7 PKK / YBK terrorists in the city of Tal Rifaat in northwestern Syria.
The ministry stated on its Twitter account, on Sunday, that the Turkish army commandos neutralized the 7 terrorists while they were trying to launch an attack on the “Euphrates Shield” area.
The ministry confirmed that its operations against terrorists are continuing in the region.
Through Operation Euphrates Shield, which it launched on August 24, 2016, the Turkish army was able to clear 2,055 square kilometers of land in northern Syria from terrorist elements.
The scope of the operation included areas in the northern countryside of the Aleppo governorate, including the cities of Jarablus and Al-Bab.
