The Ukrainian president visits Turkey on Saturday

The Ukrainian President, Vladimir Zelenskyyy, will visit Turkey, Saturday, to participate in the high-level strategic council meeting between the two countries.

The Turkish Presidency Communication Department stated, in a statement on Friday, that the ninth edition of the high-level strategic council meeting between the two countries will be held under the chairmanship of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Ukrainian counterpart Zelenskyyy, in Istanbul.

The statement indicated that the meeting will deal with the Turkish-Ukrainian relations at the level of strategic partnership in all its aspects, and will discuss steps that can be taken to develop and deepen bilateral cooperation.

He referred to the participation of the concerned ministers in the meeting.

The statement indicated that regional and international issues will be on the agenda of the talks.

Views will also be exchanged on joint projects aimed at improving the living conditions of the Crimean Tatars.
