Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The Russian army is the most modern in the world, Shoygu said

The Russian Armed Forces are equipped with modern technology better than the armies of other countries. This was stated by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoygu.

“Today everyone – some with anger, some with approval – understands and states that the Russian army has more than 70 percent, or more precisely, almost 71 percent of modern weapons and equipment. This is the highest percentage among all the armies in the world,” Shoygu said at a meeting with the staff of the Rostvertol company.

In this regard, the head of the Ministry of Defense thanked the Russian scientists and designers, “who, in timelessness, managed to preserve their scientific potential and much more in order to make the leap that our president said in 2018 during his address to the Federal Assembly.”

Earlier, the country’s President Vladimir Putin said that Russia will continue to develop unique defensive weapons, but does not intend to threaten anyone with them. According to the head of state, his main task is to guarantee the country’s security against the backdrop of growing threats.

He also assured that Russia will “knock out its teeth” to all who tried to “bite off” something from it.
