Algeria enters a third wave of Corona and individual initiatives to secure oxygen

Algerian citizens tried to compensate to meet the demand for oxygen after their country entered a severe crisis in the lack of supply of respirators and oxygen concentrators, and civil society activities rushed to launch voluntary campaigns to meet the needs of the injured.

In the last few weeks, Algeria has known several fundraising campaigns, whether through social networking sites, on the streets or within institutions, to confront an unprecedented epidemiological situation.

In the country’s history, Hassan Jazairi, Al-Ghad channel, Algeria, Algeria imports oxygen, and Algeria entered the third wave of infections with the Coronavirus, coinciding with the announcement of the Algerian Prime Minister, Ayman bin Abd al-Rahman, that Algeria had started importing about 15,000 oxygen concentrators as an urgent measure, in the context of strengthening the medical device to contain Corona infections.
